This website is designed to help people learn about water gardens.

My audience I am trying to reach is homeowners.

The learning objectives that I will develop include:

  1. How to pick the right location. (shade, sun, etc.)
  2. What type of water garden will best suit your situation.
  3. How to choose the right type of liner and equipment.
  4. What steps you need to follow when building a water garden pond.
  5. How to make a water garden fit into your environment.
  6. When to buy tropical or hardy plants. What types of plants can be planted in and around the water garden.
  7. What you need to do to properly maintain your water garden.

Some of the main ideas that I will include are:

  1. The right location for water gardens.
  2. What tools and materials are needed.
  3. The proper hardscape and lighting to make it look natural.
  4. What plants should be used in and around the pond.
  5. Proper maintenance of a water garden.
